The Fall 2025/Intersession 2026 Si Beagle catalog is scheduled to be mailed and available on the UFT website on July 7. Registration opens on July 14.
Medicare Part B and IRMAA 2024 reimbursements
Medicare Part B 2024 reimbursements should have reached eligible retirees by April 2025. IRMAA 2024 reimbursements are scheduled to be issued by October 2025.
Automated dues refund system for retirees working for the DOE
The UFT has an automated system to refund excess dues deducted from the pay of retirees who return to work for the DOE.

Stitching together the pieces in retirement
Louise Naples, a retired school secretary, has become an avid quilter in retirement. Her quilts were recently on display at The Center, a communal gathering space at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, Queens.

Retired Teachers Chapter Luncheon 2025
More than 250 UFT retirees and guests packed Shanker Hall at union headquarters for the Retired Teachers Chapter’s annual luncheon on May 23. Speakers celebrated the tenacity of union activism over the last 65 years and honored RTC members for 50 years or more of service.
