Ask George
George is the UFT's virtual assistant, available 24/7 to provide answers to your most frequently asked questions straight from your computer or mobile device. George is named in honor of UFT founder George Altomare.
Members can use George to:
- Answer your questions about salary and leaves.
- Request a pension consultation.
- Download Welfare Fund forms.
- Request a UFT membership ID card.
- Get directed to a live agent for additional support during business hours.
- Initiate an inquiry in the evening or on the weekend.
Simply log in to the UFT Member Hub and look for the chat icon on the lower right side of the page to start a conversation with George.
